About me
Meet your teacher
I’m a singing and drama teacher by trade, and a spoken English coach by passion. I have been helping students of all ages improve their spoken English for more than 10 years. I started out teaching speech and drama in South Africa, working with students who had to perform in front of large audiences and be understood clearly by every single person in the room. When I moved to China, I taught both ESL and speech and drama. There my students also had to perform in English on stage in large theatres. They didn't just learn to speak English. They learned to own it. I watched my students' confidence grow, not just when speaking memorised lines, but also in day-to-day English conversations. That experience is my motivation for wanting to help more people across the world. It’s also the foundation of how I teach, because confidence in spoken English isn't just about getting the sounds right. It's about practising in a way that prepares you for real life, not just the classroom. That's exactly what I bring to every student I work with.
